Staff is uneven in their professionalism. Some are great, some are mediocre. Plastic abounds around everything. Produce has sometimes less than fresh look and taste. Overall bjs is a marketing scheme around food et al things with coupons, come - ons and large quantities. Can be fun to play the coupon game, but mostly the large quantity sizes of everything does not provide savings unless you have a large freezer. Food would go bad before it can be eaten for single persons or small families.

so.... I have a fear.... that fear being.....THE BJS ROBOT. You walk in alert and in anticipation for it. Looking in the isles, hoping you dont see it.... but then you hear it. The eerie and terrifying sounds of the whistle. Then you see it. It races towards you. Out of fear you walk the other direction.... but its not enough. It follows you. Foods good though.

Great all the way. We're members for the second year now. I like salad 3 for 10. Yum! Husband loves peanuts, chicken pack, almond milk, and hash browns. Salmon also our favorite. We always stopped by for household items as well.

We had a very disappointing experience at BJ's tonight around 6/29/2026 9 PM. The cashier's alarm/light was triggered during checkout. Instead of calmly investigating the issue or helping us resolve it, the night manager immediately assumed that we were attempting to steal merchandise. The manager's attitude was hostile, accusatory, and extremely unprofessional. We have been BJ's members for over 10 years and have never experienced anything like this before. Rather than treating loyal customers with respect, we were asked to rescan all of our items because of their system issue, while being treated as if we had done something wrong. Mistakes and technical issues can happen, but customer service should be based on professionalism and respect, not assumptions and accusations. It is concerning that someone with this attitude is placed in a management position. "This was by far the worst customer service experience we have had at BJ's in over a decade of membership."

I’ve never felt like I needed to leave a review before on ANYTHING, until today. My mom and I have been members at BJ’s for five or six years, and have never had a negative experience, just the typical in and out shopping and customer service has usually been great/helpful. However, upon reaching the checkout, my mom and I were approached by a woman named Hillary who aggressively told us that we needed to have 20 items or less and need to move to the register accompanied by a cashier. She assumed my mom and I were together, before we even got the chance to say our transactions would be separate . Now, in the entire time that we have been members, we’ve never been told that the 20 items or less was enforced, and when a bjs employees has come over they have excused it if it is a couple items over.. We tried to explain that my mom only brought her virtual card (in the past I was told that only the self checkouts were allowed to scan virtual or pictures of the barcodes), So we were a little confused and said we hadn’t heard of this, she again rolled her eyes, cut us off, and became standoffish. We moved to the cashier where we met Jonas, and he agreed the interaction was not positive
